Ready to expand its business, the company wanted to develop a powerful yet easy-to-use e-commerce system for its existing website. Built on Magento CE, champaignsurplus.com allows consumers to explore the outfitter’s extensive catalog, cross-referenced and searchable across 62 brands, 13 gear types and 26 apparel categories. To enable this, our team integrated inventory management through Champaign Surplus’s existing POS•IM POS software package, created custom sales reports and customized Magento’s content management system. To optimize the company’s supply chain, we set up order fulfillment integration with drop shipment and affiliate partners. This workflow optimization allows information to travel freely among retail, online and warehouse, keeping inventory management efficient and up-to-date and travelers well-stocked.
